There is a huge shortage of Dog Groomers on the Sunshine Coast, and we are wanting to fill that gap, to become the largest Dog Grooming Salon on the Sunshine Coast
We offer customers cheaper price grooms with our trainee's on a Tuesday and Wednesday and you will conduct between 10 - 20 grooms on dogs which will assessed by our trainer Meg who is a professional dog groomer
What we pay
Junior (under 20 yo) Trainee $14.94 ph
Adult Trainee $21.73 ph

You can work hours to suit your lifestyle and we are very flexible, we can open 7 Days 7am until 7pm, so choose your own schedule and you will be paid the award rate MA000104 Miscellaneous Award

Thank you for your interest in Dog Groomer X
We are seeking confident people with dogs, this job is intense, and you are often working on your own and on your feet for hours. You will be doing integrate work with clippers and sharp scissors, so you will need to have good eyesight
It can be stressful as you are handling live animals, and you will need to be good under pressure, with excellent customer service as you are dealing with your customer’s precious pet
You need to be a quick learner, alert and remember what you have learned, we have a 20-point checklist which walks you through the groom and ensures steps cannot be missed
If you follow these steps every time, you will get the perfect professional groom
We offer full training and as of May 2025, we are training on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday with our trainer Meg (pictured)
